Anita
Anita was one of the most vulgar actresses to ever grace Pakistani Cinema. She was infamously known for her raunchy and lewd dances in films like Khatarnak (1974), Khaufnaak (1976), Club Dancer (1976), Pindi Waal (1976), Machle Khan (1979) etc.
Anita first memorable role was in Khatarnaak where she was cast as a deadly part time Ninja. Her boundless and effortless vulgarity granted success to this violent, tasteless movie that went on to celebrate Diamond Jubilee in both Lahore and Karachi circuits. Khatarnaak’s success introduced elements of violence and vulgarity in Punjabi films and henceforth they were considered essential ingredients of Punjabi Cinema. In her short career, Anita was mostly cast in negative roles that required to show some skin and perform some crude dances for sex starved male audiences. Many double entendre songs of Mala and Noor Jehan including Pyar mainou kar, Neeli neeli aankhien meri duniya pasand karien were picturized on her – Mr. Jinx
