Adapted from the Marathi play 'Asuni Nath Mi Anath' by Suresh Khare. Sunita, raised in an orphanage, is married to Hemant, who is later revealed to be impotent. Hemant, lured by his promotion, sends Sunita to his office boss, Ghanshyam. Sunita resists, but gradually grows fond of him and eventually marries him. The boss's marital needs are not met by his cold wife. When, infatuated, the boss transfers all his property to Sunita, Sunita throws him out, leaving him penniless. Coincidentally, Ghanshyam's wife and Hemant simultaneously seek treatment from a sexologist and begin their respective treatments. One day, when Ghanshyam saw his wife with Hemant, he shot her in a fit of rage and fled. Sunita continues to pursue him. When a man named Champaklal attempts to rape her, Sunita cuts off his penis in self-defense. Sunita is tried in court but acquitted.
