Some folk songs were incorporated into the background of this "songless film." The heroine is torn between her love for her husband and her friend. After her husband's death, she moves to her friend, but the distance remains. Producer-director Bimal Dutt had a song composed for this film (lyricist: Yogesh, composer: Dakshina Mohan Tagore), but it was ultimately not included in the film.
