According to the film's promotional pamphlet, the film was originally titled "Aaj Ki Radha," and the gramophone records were released under that name. It was passed by the Censor Board in 1977 as "Aaj Ki Radha," but was re-passed in 1979 as "Aaj Ki Dhara."
