This film is the story of a young man 'Prem' who gets newly married and starts teaching in a college, but instead of all these bonds, he is lost in the memories of fri student life. When he learns that his wife Indu is about to give birth to a child, he becomes even more upset. In a state of indignation, he wanders in many places in the hope of help and sympathy and kips on struggling with financial crisis, but no one supports him. Ultimately he realizes that his wife Indu is the true partner of his happiness and sorrow and then he finds himself able to pull the burden of his household happily.
