Raman and directed the dances and comedy scenes of the film, a film called 'Saazish' made in Pakistan was brought to India by Haveli Ram Gandhi and Gulshan Roy (under M.V. Raman's direction). By editing 'Saazish' and adding comedy scenes with Shashikala and Bhagwan, the film 'Beti' was prepared, and most of its songs were sung by Asha Bhosle.
