Yes, Tees Maar Khan trailer has hit the small screens and it looks wonderful as expected. Akshay is seen donning several avatars and Katrina looks glamorous. It promises fun and great chemistry from the lead pair.

Tees Maar Khan is the story of a half Robinhood. Akshay plays the role of a fearless and shameless criminal, who keeps the police on their toes. The film is scheduled for release this Christmas on December 24.

Katrina Kaif

In Yash Raj Films’ next project Katrina Kaif’s character is so volatile and unpredictable that she needed special preparation to essay it.

Written and directed by debutant Ali Abbas Zafar, the film titled Mere Brother Ki Dulhan will star Imran Khan as the male lead. According to producer Aditya Chopra’s brief, Katrina would have to play the temperamental girl after much preparation.

“All I can say about my role is that this girl is quite a number. The closest I came to playing something so challenging was in Namastey London and that was a cakewalk compared to this. The girl in Ali’s film is… something else. I have to go completely outside myself to play her. Whom am I observing to play the role? I am not telling,” said Katrina.

This romantic comedy is scheduled for release in 2011. Ali has been with YRF for many years and had assisted on films such as Badmaash Company, New York, Tashan and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.

Chakori

Actress Chakori who worked in many Urdu, Punjabi and Pushto films in 70s and 80s passed away in Lahore on November 1st, 2010. She was admitted to Jinnah hospital few days ago and was suffering from Asthma, Diabetes, Heart and Liver disease.

Chakori was most famous for her role as “Daro Natni” in Maula Jatt (1979). Maula Jatt took Chakori to the moon. She attained the status of the second best heroine of the Punjabi films, after Anjuman, and in some cases even rivaled her.

According to her son Hassan Kaifi, her funeral prayer will be held in Allama Iqbal Town after Zuhr prayers.
